Safari Fascination Uganda

Day 1 Arrival Day – Entebbe

Our driver will pick you up at the Entebbe Airport and bring you to first accommodation. Depending on your arrival time you have a chance to visit the city of Entebbe or the botanical garden. There is also a possibility of bird watching during a boat trip on Lake Victoria (Pre-Booking only).

Day 2 FASCINATION UGANDA, Kampala – Fort Portal

After breakfast, drive on well-developed roads towards the Fort Portal. On the way you will get a first impression of Uganda. You drive through small villages and enjoy the view of the lush vegetation and the ever-changing hilly landscape. After a short photo stop at the equator you continue through a huge tea plantation estate before arriving at your lodge.

Day 3 FASCINATION UGANDA, Fort Portal – Semliki National Park

In the lodge there is an early breakfast and then you drive to the Semliki National Park for your first game drive. The approximately 220 square kilometres large National Park with about 300 different trees species and with more than 400 different bird species is a paradise for birdwatchers. Elephants, Buffalos, Chimpanzees, Hippos and various antelope are found here. The male and the female hot spring are a special attraction of the Semliki National Park.

Day 4 FASCINATION UGANDA, Semliki National Park – Kibale National Park

After breakfast drive towards Kibale National Park. Enjoy the view of the often snow-covered peaks of the Ruwenzori Mountains and the valleys with the green meadows. You will pass by some of the 50 crater Lakes before you reach your lodge at Kibale National Park.

Day 5 FASCINATION UGANDA, Kibale Forest National Park – Chimpanzee Tracking

Accompanied by an experienced guide, you follow the footsteps of the Chimpanzees into the jungles of the Kibale Forest. The silence is interrupted by unknown sounds of some birds. Also the Chimpanzees are communicating with each other. Soon with a little luck, you will discover the first primates! They are genetically 98% like humans. During your track you become a witness of an unique moment which will remain unforgettable.

Day 6 FASCINATION UGANDA, Kibale Forest National Park – Queen Elizabeth National Park

Today you continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park. It lies at the foot of the majestic Ruwenzori Mountains, right on Lake Edward and Lake George. The lakes are connected by the Kazinga Channel. In the National Park you can do unforgettable with great game viewing. You will see everything African wildlife has to offer. There are numerous Lions, Buffalos, Hyenas and of course only in Uganda occurring the Uganda Kobe Antelope. With the Ruwenzori Mountains at the back you will get perfect panorama pictures.

Day 7 FASCINATION UGANDA , Queen Elizabeth National Park – Lake Mburo National Park

In the morning, when the air is still fresh you will enjoy another game drive in the Queen Elizabeth National Park. Especially the elephant population with about 3000 animals is impressive. At noon the drive to Lake Mburo National Park will start. The National Park offers the rare possibility for a guided walking safari.

Day 8 FASCINATION UGANDA, Lake Mburo National Park – Entebbe

Lake Mburo National Park is one of the two parks in Uganda where a walking safari is allowed. Exploring together with an experienced ranger, footprints and animal excrements will tell you which animals are nearby. It is particularly exciting to see the wildlife from the walking perspective. You might see Zebras, Giraffes, Waterbuck and Giraffes. Sometimes Hippos are spotted outside the lake. At noon you leave to Entebbe.

Day 9 Departure Day – Uganda, Entebbe

Depending on the time of departure, after breakfast you will have the opportunity to take a guided tour in the Botanical Garden with a large collection of trees from all over the world. Alternatively, we organize a boat tour with bird watching for you. With a little luck you will see the very rare prehistoric Shoebill. Then home flight or departure for connecting trip, e.g. Beach vacation in beautiful Zanzibar Island. Our driver will pick you up at the Hotel in Entebbe and will bring you to the Entebbe airport.
