The Kibale National Park is known for its habituated chimpanzees. In its rainforests live a total of 13 species of primates (inter alia Red colobus (Colobus Red) and Eastern Hoest’s monkey) and a larger inventory of forest elephants. It covers 766 km² and is located approximately 40 km south of Fort Portal.
The Queen Elizabeth National Park is dominated by Lake Edward in the west and Lake George in the east. Both lakes are connected by the Kazinga Channel. Not far away lies the Rwenzori Mountains, which dominates the landscape. Hippos and pelicans catch the eye, next to indicates the presence of African buffalo, elephant, lion, various antelope and over 600 bird species on the ecological diversity of the area.
Lake Mburo National Park
To the south, Lake Mburo National Park, the habitat consists of open grasslands, acacia forests, marshes, lakes and. A special highlight are guided walking safaris.

Transfer Kampala – Kibale Forest NP
You start today towards western Uganda, the route passes through a hilly landscape with many beautiful tea fields. After about 320 km you will reach Fort Portal, the center of Toto kingdom. On clear days you have a splendid view of the peaks of the Rwenzori Mountains. On the way is time for a short stop, sip a coffee or buy a souvenir, before heading to the lodge
Kibale Forest NP – Queen Elizabeth NP
This morning in the company of an experienced guide you follow the tracks of chimpanzees in the jungle of Kibale Forests. With luck, you soon discover the first primates! Watch the chimps as they play, eat or even mate and listen to the impressive sounds of the crowns of trees. After a fortifying lunch, continue in the Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Queen Elizabeth NP
In the national park you take the morning game drive, you will see everything it has to offer the African wildlife. There are numerous lions, buffalo, hyenas and also the occurring in Uganda Kobe antelope. The Kazinga Channel connects Lake Edward and Lake George. Here Buffalo, crocodiles and hippos frolicking. In the afternoon You start to take a boat safari, now you have the opportunity to see these animals up close.
Queen Elizabeth NP – Bwindi Impenetrable NP
In the morning we drive to Ishasha. This place is known for its tree-climbing lions. In Uganda this is climb the only area in the lions regularly on the trees. This experience will sweeten the long drive to Bwindi Forest something.
The Highlight of Uganda: Gorilla Tracking!
Today is the highlight of your tour of Uganda! In Bwindi Impenetrable Forest live both gorillas and chimpanzees! This is the only forest in Africa where you can see both monkey species. As you penetrate along the wooded hillsides, tangled vines and bamboo plants in the dense jungle, you learn a lot about the Ugandan giants. Your experienced guide will show you traces of previous activities of gorillas, for example, nests, dung and nibbled bamboo shoots. Soon you will be the strong, almost human acting Mountain Gorilla face! While the monkeys undisturbed going about their everyday activities you approach them quietly until you are just a three to four meters from them. Watch the gorilla and the gorilla will be watching.
Bwindi Impenetrable NP – Lake Mburo NP
The daily goal of today is the Lake Mburo National Park. It is the smallest National Park in Uganda. In the afternoon break for a game drive in the park. In addition to the Kidepo National Park this is the only park where you can see zebras. Since 2015 here live 15 giraffes were resettled here by the rangers.
Lake Mburo NP – Entebbe
The Lake Mburo National Park is one of the two parks in Uganda, where it is allowed to take a walking safari. Accompanied by a ranger you to go exploring. The animals have a much greater without the protective vehicle and it is exciting to see the wildlife of this area. Upon your return to the Lodge You start already back to Entebbe / Kampala. Of course, you get the opportunity at the equator shoot a souvenir photo.
