Itinerary and Highlights of Golf and Beach

Day 1 Arrival day Kilimanjaro Int. airport

After arriving at Kilimanjaro Int. Airport, our driver will take you to the idyllically situated Dolly Estate in northern Tanzania beneath Mount Meru. The exclusive location of the lodge, directly at the golf course, is spectacular and unique. In the immediate vicinity of Mount Kilimmanjaro and Mount Meru the ball flies particularly far.

Day 2 Golf course with view of Kilimanjaro

As soon as you leave the terrace of the luxurious villa, you will enter the unparalleled golf course, which is listed among the top 10 golf courses in Africa. Here, from the terrace of your private luxury villa, you will enjoy the sounds of the African wilderness and the breathtaking views of the Masai area to the south. The sunlight, especially in the evening and at dawn, bathes the scenery in the most spectacular colours. A fantastic place to play golf.

Day 3 A beautiful game

In the morning the air is indescribably fresh and clear. The best time to be active on the road. The game of golf passes in a flash under the perfect conditions. After a successful game, the spacious pool of the villa will entice you. Complete relaxation is guaranteed and you enjoy the exclusive service, which is also reflected in the interior design. Spacious rooms with large window openings allow a view of the natural surroundings. A campfire and wine await you on the outdoor terrace with a 4-course menu.

Day 4 Safari at Lake Manyara

After being picked up from your accommodation, you will drive to the East African Rift Valley. Here the hinged photo roof is opened for the first game drive. First you will cross the forest belt and look out for monkeys of different species and elephants trotting among the trees. In the grassy alluvial plain you will certainly encounter large herds of buffalo, zebra, wildebeest and giraffe. Also look up. Because you might spot a lion lying down in the branches to doze. On the swampy shore of the salty Lake Manyaras, water birds such as flamingos, pelicans and cormorants cavort.

Day 5 Safari Ngorongoro Crater

Today you drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. At the edge of the crater, the viewpoint, next to the memorial stone for Bernhard Grzimek, offers a clear view into the gigantic basin. At some places the diameter is 20 kilometres. Depending on the season, the Ngorongoro Crater counts between 15,000 and 25,000 animals. You have a good chance to observe the “Big Five” (lion, rhino, elephant, buffalo and leopard). Relative to the area, the naturally closed animal reserve is home to a relatively large number of herbivores. They provide good food for the over 100 lions. The deepest point is the Magadi salt lake. Depending on the season its level rises and attracts countless flamingos. In the surrounding swamps Mandusi and Gorigor, which are fed by rivers of the crater highlands, hippos cavort.

Day 6 Safari in the Serengeti

After breakfast you will drive to the famous Serengeti National Park. On the way you will pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with extremely varied vegetation. The backdrop is formed by rolling hills, extinct volcanoes and legendary primeval forests. During the migration, millions of wildebeests and zebras are found in the plains of the Serengeti Plains and the Ngorongoro fringe – an impressive first impression when you reach the Nabi Gate to the Serengeti.

Day 7 Full day game drive in the Serengeti

This day begins in the heart of the Serengeti, the “Seronera Valley”, amidst huge umbrella acacias and mighty figs. The northern ranges of hills feed numerous watercourses, attracting many antelopes, reedbucks and baboons. Hippos splash in the water – leopards rest on acacias and lions doze in the high grass. This day is completely planned for game drives in the Serengeti. Of course you can have a decisive influence on the design of the safari with the observation breaks.

Day 8 Seronera – Flight to Zanzibar

The heart of the Serengeti is Seronera. Here the life of the national park pulsates all year round, because not every one of the 1.5 million wildebeests and 500000 zebras makes the long hike. A decisive part resides in Seronera. Because the grass never disappears completely from the wide plains and the rivers offer water all year round. Where there are zebras and antelopes, lions, cheetahs, hyenas and leopards are not far away. Elephants, hippos and crocodiles can also be seen here all year round. By plane you take off and fly to Zanzibar.

Day 9 – 11 Dream resort on Zanzibar

Tee off – bang – the little white ball flies into the blue sky and rolls over the meadow after it comes up. The view wanders over the crystal clear water of the Indian Ocean with its white sandy beach. Exotic smells are in the air. The Sea Cliff Resort on Zanzibar is a real paradise – not only for golfers. With its hammocks, idyllic bays and coconut palms along the white beaches, Zanzibar is the epitome of deceleration. The sweet idleness is interrupted only by small dives at the coral reefs, exotically spiced meals full of taste variety and wonderful impressions.

Day 12 Departure Day

A wonderful golf holiday comes to an end. You have experienced memorable games. From the restaurant you look back on the green golf course and its bunker, where your ball got stuck more than once. The driver will load your luggage into the vehicle and take you to the airport outside Stone Town.
