Uganda Flight Safari

Day 1 Uganda Flight Safari – Arrival Day Entebbe
Our driver will meet you at the airport and bring you to your hotel. Depending on the time of arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the beautiful botanical garden or take a boat tour to the swamps where the Shoebill Stork is common.

Day 2 Uganda Flight Safari – Entebbe – Murchison National Park
After extensive breakfast, our driver will take you to Entebbe Airport. From there you fly straight to Murchison National Park with the chance of a great overview of the green landscape of Uganda with its hills and lakes. At the Airstrip another driver of our team is waiting for you to bring you to the hotel and start the first game drive in the national park. If you prefer to stop at the hotel first you are welcome to enjoy lunch and the panoramic view of the Nile river from the pool.

Day 3 Uganda Flight Safari – Murchison Falls National Park
Early in the morning you will experience an game drive with the sun rising over the land of Murchison National Park. The vegetation is characterized by savanna in the northern part. There are lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, hartebeest, oribis and the typical Uganda Kobs. In the afternoon you will experience the amazing boat safari on River Nile. Under the watchful eyes of crocodile, hippos, different bird species and other wild animals you will approach the famous Murchison Waterfalls. It’s about a one hour walk to the top of the waterfall if you are keen. People say it is the most powerful waterfall in Africa, at the point where it plunges 43 meters into the depths.

Day 4 Uganda Flight Safari – Murchison National Park- Queen Elisabeth National Park
Early you will start boat safari the Nile Delta at Lake Albert. Here you have the great opportunity to observe the diversity of birdlife as well as the rare prehistoric Shoebill Stork. At noon you will start your next flight to Kasese. From Kasese Airport, our driver will bring you to your lodge in Queen Elisabeth National Park. The park is located at the foot of the majestic Ruwenzori Mountains, right on Lake Edward and Lake George. The lakes are connected by the Kazinga Channel.

Day 5 Uganda Flight Safari – Queen Elisabeth National Park, Chimpanzee Tracking
After breakfast you will start the chimpanzee tracking. In Uganda, there are about 5,000 chimpanzee in the wild, perfect to observe them today. At the meeting point you will meet your Ranger and you will be introduced to the basic tracking regulations. There is no guarantee to really see the chimpanzees as they live in the wild. However, your ranger will be very keen to show you these wonderful animals. In the afternoon, take an unforgettable boat trip on the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway that connects Lake Edward and Lake George. Here you will be able to observe a plenty of hippos nearby.

Day 6 Uganda Flight Safari – Queen Elisabeth National Park – Ishasha
Today you continue to Ishasha, the southern part of Queen Elisabeth National Park. Ishasha shines with an golden savanna, same bushland and wide Ishasha River. It offers many wildlife and unique habitat. In addition to numerous shrubs, some fig trees stand out. Between their branches lie mostly lions or leopards. With a little luck you can see a whole pride of Lion together in one single tree. An wonderful amazing experience that you should not miss. In the afternoon, you will arrive at the northern edge of Bwindi National Park.

Day 7 Uganda Flight Safari – Gorilla Tracking – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Both mountain gorillas and chimpanzees live in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. This forest is the only one that can offer this. As you progress along the wooded slopes, winding vineyards and bamboo plants into the dense jungle, you will learn a lot about the fascinating giants. The experienced guide will give you explanation about gorilla and show you traces of previous gorilla activities. For example, nests, manure and nibbled bamboo shoots. Then you will suddenly face the powerful, almost human-looking mountain gorilla! You can observe how the animals do their daily activities in undisturbed environment.

Day 8 Uganda Flight Safari – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Entebbe
After breakfast our driver will take you to the nearby Airstrip and fly back to Entebbe. From here you have the opportunity to start a connecting journey in Tanzania or visit beauty Island Zanzibar.
